In September we visited the Modern Classic Car Foundation in Sydney. Whilst the name sounds like an oxymoron, it all makes sense when given the opportunity to explore their workshop and the vehicles being worked on. Several of the projects being worked on were “restomods”, i.e. modernised versions of classic cars with later drivetrains, power steering, air conditioning and any other changes specified by the owner. They are also accumulating skills and knowledge around conversion to electric power. The blue mini in the pics is one such car. Thanks to Jason Barker for the pics.
